So, we've been working our tails off getting ready for Video Games Live on July 18th, and we're getting some local media attention for ourselves and the Louisville Orchestra in the process. We're happy to announce that we'll be featured on two local morning news programs. Naturally, we'll be looking for people to come in and look awake while the cameras are on, and possibly even walk around in costumes as well. So, if you want, pick a date or your favorite morning news show and come on by.

If you can't make it, set your alarm (or your Tivo) and watch. You never know what you're gonna see when this bunch winds up on television.
So, how many times have you looked at game artwork and said "Eh, why'd they do that? They should have asked me!" Well... now a game publisher wants to ask you... just take a quick 15 minute survey, and enter the name of your favorite local gaming center when prompted (that would be us!) for a chance to win some free games, too.

Whtbread is happy to announce that he's worked out a weekly DnD night, complete with a regular DM (although I suppose special guest stars are always a possibility). I gather it'll be a casual game, easy for people to drop in and out of, but you'll need to stop in on Wednesdays for the full scoop.
Rumors have it that teh badfrog might occasionally find some time to play as well...

We've finally gotten enough requests that I've finally had to get off my duff and put my tournament planning hat back on in order to put together a 5-on-5 Call of Duty 4 tournament for the XBOX 360. We'll be featuring a cash prize commensurate with the number of teams, plus whatever miscellaneous swag we can pull together for the occasion. Think you're pretty good? Get your team together and prove it on May 24th.

As is our custom, we'll be hosting our third-annual Derby LAN, Saturday May 3rd. While this is not an all-nighter, there will be fun all day long, as we host the customary Halo 3 free-for-all and CounterStrike Source tournaments, plus a gaming-themed derby hat contest. Of course, we'll also have the big race on the big TV for your viewing pleasure.

Just not yet. A series of delays made us miss our original 3/28 date. Expect an exact date -- that we'll make this time -- very shortly.
